Reverse Putt - GMTK 2023

Ever played golf and wished the ball fell right in the hole? You strike the ball and wish the hole was a bit to the left, or if you had applied more strength, it would have gone in? Ever wish you could move the hole yourself? If your answer to all these questions was “Yes” then we have a game for you.

In Reverse Putt you can do exactly that. Once the ball is launched in the air, use cues such as shadows and trajectory lines to place the hole where you think the ball is going to land. The closer to the hole the ball lands, the higher your score.

PLAY GUIDE :

1. Press the designated swing button to hit the golf ball.

2. Use the W, A, S, and D keys to control the camera's movement. Scroll to zoom in or out.

3. Utilize the camera controls to estimate where the ball will land.

4. Left-click on the ground at the desired location where you think the ball will land.

5. Wait for the ball to land after you have placed it.

6. Receive scores based on the accuracy of your estimation, determined by the ball's final landing position.

7. Play a total of five turns.

8. Calculate your average accuracy score based on the five turns played.

9. Try to beat your average accuracy.
